This would have to be the worst accomodation I have ever booked with Hotel.com.From the check-in onwards it was a disaster,with no prewarning there was no reception & as it was raining with no shelter to finally get access to our key .The whole process is a joke,not only didn't the hotel have the name anywhere visible it still had the Chifley sign up.No blinds that worked,a bad smell coming from the bathroom & no teaspoons were just some of the faults.As for cleanliness it didn't exist the only saving grace was the comfortable bed.
The hotel name wasn’t honeysuckle apartment it was chiefly and also the address was wrong. It took 15 minutes to find the actual hotel and mailbox to get the key but key wasn’t in the box. Gave us only one key which was inconvenient. There weren’t face washers so it was difficult to have shower. We expected tv in bedroom but no tv. Netflix didn’t work. Lots of stains on the carpet. We weren’t happy. We never come back.
DIRTY, PEST (Mouse), ROOM DOWNGRADED, NO COMMUNICATION/ SERVICE Walk into the room, notice it was a standard room that they have checked me into rather than “Superior Room” that I have booked and paid for. Found a chunk of hair in the bathroom, no blanket on bed (only the standard extra blanket at the top shelve of built in), and noisy A/C. Day 1 - Woke up in the middle of the night by a mouse trying to bite thru my food shopping (all still in sealed package). Day 2 – Morning - The mouse ran from fridge to dish washer while I was making coffee. Contacted Honeysuckle service team, was told that they can’t send anyone to deal with mice until Wednesday. Unable to change the room as they are booked out. Day 3 - 7:30AM, woke up by loud drilling and knocking within the building, seem like the building is under going refurbishment. Tried to contact Honeysuckle service team again early afternoon regarding the pest issue and the wrong grade room was given, was told that they can’t confirm if anyone has gone in to deal with mice, but will get back to me shortly which never happen. Wednesday night, saw the mouse ran from bedroom to living room. Day 4 - 7:30AM, woke up by loud drilling and knocking again. Still haven’t heard from the service team. The mouse was still trying to chew thru my food on Thursday night. Day 5 - Checked out. Still no response from the service team. *7 days later, still no sign of a response, hence writing this review.
Location was excellent. Bad points were the pool was being renovated and we were not informed when booking or otherwise. There are a lot of paint damage around the unit which isn’t a great look. Also one big thing I’d like to add is that the until isn’t set up to block all of the light coming through so there wasn’t much of a sleep in any day. Other the. That it is set in a top location.
Excellent location. The apartment is a bit tired but it has a basic for a short stay.
Pool was not available, was not advised prior to booking accommodation.
Room was a great size with a nice balcony, bed was uncomfortable and springy, just two king single beds put together to make a king. Check in was confusing as I’d arrived but hadn’t received the text as to how to check in, reception was unstaffed, had to call number on my itinerary to get instructions
Stayed in a one bed apartment for five nights. Location was great. Asked for sofa bed to be made up and wasn’t, had to find housekeeping the next day. The apartment and balcony just need a good scrub. Also the pool was being paved and no one told us, this was the reason we chose that apartment. It was all okay just not great.
Terrible - no details for check in at front door as the door was locked had to wait for a quest to leave to gain entry to front desk which was unattended called phone number to get key. Got into room and the room had NOT been cleaned from other guest. Called the reception again they took 30 minutes to orgainise another room then the cleaner let us into the new room and then we left the room the access code to the door didn’t work to get back in. Mould bathroom damage to the room mid repairs to some things
The staff were really helpful and arranged an early check in for me. Apartment was very clean. Great stay.
