We had such a wonderful experience at The Blake at Scottsdale! We were in a stressful situation trying to book a hotel last minute after leaving a roach-infested place, and they completely turned our night around.
The woman at the front desk was incredibly friendly, kind, and understanding. They were experiencing technical difficulties with Hotels.com, and because of that, they generously gave us a complimentary night — which we truly appreciated. That level of customer service is rare!
The hotel was recently taken over by new owners and is currently under renovation, but they were very upfront about everything. Even though some rooms weren’t fully set up yet (no fridge, microwave, or blow dryer initially), when I asked about them, they immediately offered to have them sent over — and they actually made it happen that same night. They even sent brand new, clean, beautiful white comforters to our room.
They also made sure my daughter’s room was right next door to ours, which meant so much to us. The price was very reasonable compared to other hotels in the area, especially considering the level of care and service we received.
Overall, we were beyond happy with our stay. The kindness, responsiveness, and effort from the staff made all the difference. I would absolutely stay here again!
