Although the hotel staff were friendly and helpful, it seemed that they often dealt with difficult guests who did not follow the rules. Upon checking in, we were reminded multiple times not to use the electric kettle for boiling tea or coffee. The staff informed us that we would be fined 100 baht if they discovered we had boiled anything in the kettle, which left us confused. After all, an electric kettle is designed to boil water.
On our last day, we received two phone calls at 11:00 AM and 11:20 AM, reminding us that checkout was at noon. The caller repeated this information several times, which was quite frustrating. After hanging up, we decided to check out.
I feel sorry for the hotel staff who have to manage guests that are loud and lacking in manners and respect. Unfortunately, this experience will be my first and last stay at Ramada by Wyndham.
