Great location from Bar Harbor with a 8 minute drive. As this hotel sits on a hill-not really walkable unless you want to walk 20-30 minutes. This hotel is older but very clean and the beds are crisp and comfy. The balcony view is amazing as are the sun rises.

We enjoyed our stay. It had a great view from our balcony, was clean, and quiet. Staff was friendly. It was nice to have access to the free Island Exploer bus that took us downtown Bar Harbor in just about 10-15min. Using the bus saved us the hassle of the paid downtown parking.

Good location to Acadia NP. The staff member checking us in was extremely polite. The room was clean and the bed was quite comfortable. Quiet location and couldn't hear other guests. The breakfast was great... the scrambled eggs and either the bacon or sausage was quite good. The view of the ocean and grounds from the back of the property was quite lovely. We even noticed the Island Explore Bus stopped here. Would stay again if in the area.
