An honest review!
When we first arrived, it took 20 minutes for someone to come to the check in desk. I was told that we could have the room from 13:00 if I paid a £25 fee, which I agreed to. On arrival the room wasn’t ready until 15:00, but there was no early payment charged thankfully. We were shown your room, and told that we had Netflix available in our room, and to help ourselves to their pantry if we needed supplies of anything. We went out for tea and returned back to the hotel. When we tried to click on Netflix, it said network error. We watched ITV so weren’t too fussed that Netflix wasn’t working, but to some this would be an issue. The pantry was code locked, and we weren’t left the code to access it. We went down to reception and nobody was at the desk so returned to our room, where we tried to call reception 20 minutes later and no reply. We also called the night porter in case he has started his shift and no reply either so we couldn’t access this for towels / teabags. Overall the room was clean and warm, but let down by small things that happened on our stay.
