Great place close by everything. So much stuff to do you could spend 2 weeks walking all the trails and visiting all the places. Lake Arrowhead is a hidden gem not far from Big Bear

The property is in disarray. They said it’s under repair but it’s well beyond that. It needs a complete makeover all the rooms floors walls ceilings TVs no coffee pots a coat of paint not gonna fix it. Too bad such a cute place in a great location.

This place is the worst place I’ve ever stayed at. I stayed two hours and ended up leaving. The place is filthy, it’s so outdated that nothing works. Apparently I was given a discount because the TV was broken, but was never told that the TV was broken. The sheets were dirty, and the premises were very unkept.

The hotel itself is older but cleanliness is an issue. There was hair in bathroom sink, shower, and tub. The bed smelled clean and no stains or hair. You get what you pay for and it’s a decent place to stay for 1 night. Has beautiful wooden swing if you go towards back of property. Must see!

The good: Helpful front desk person, clean comfortable bed, generally clean room, property has some nice stonework. Not so good: the furnishings in the room (chairs, nightstands, tables) were low quality/condition, the room itself was in need of basic maintenance (missing trim, one light was out, switch plates broken, exposed/loose wires for TV, etc.). The exterior of the property was also in need of maintenance (peeling paint, loose deck boards, old chairs, etc.). Cute look though and could be really nice with some work.

The property has so much potential but unfortunately not kept up. No window covering in front window, blinds broken in living room, outlets not working in bathroom. Also toilet handle kept breaking and my husband had to fix it. Microwave and kitchen dirty.😫😔

Doesnt look like the pictures, at least our room didn't. It was not clean, spider and dirt and leaves inside. Random splatters in the bathroom and hair in the shower. Blinds were broken and missing pieces so there was no privacy. Random junk and trash all around the property. Bed was very uncomfortable with bare minimum blankets and pillows. Room ac unit didnt work and all buttons were broken on it. Would not recommend staying here. Choices of places to stay in the mountains are limited but theres gotta be better options than this. Its a shame cause the property is really cool and the old cabins have alot of potent but it just isn't being care for well.

Room was dirty, we paid for 2 anniversary suits but was told that there is only one. But Expedia allowed to book 2 suits. Additionally property was very dirty and full of stains on bedsheets

The room was clean, a few spiders and webs. It was a bit of a hassle checking out, even though room had been prepaid. They had new ownership since reservation was booked but that should not have affected us or time spent waiting.

Room smelled of mold when we came back from concert. Ended up leaving at 9pm when nobody would answer the phone or office. Still waiting for refund. We used to love this place.

The worst hotel I have ever stayed at. We were there for only one night, and the room had clearly not been properly cleaned. It honestly looked like the only thing they had done was empty the trash cans.On top of all that, one night a car alarm went off continuously for about an hour, and no one from the hotel seemed to do anything about it. There were crumbs and debris on the bed sheets, the floor was dirty, and there was shaved hair left in the bathroom. The bathroom had no mirror, and there were no towels when we arrived. I had to ask for towels, and when they brought them, one of them was covered in black stains. The hotel grounds were also dirty. The trash cans outside were overflowing, with garbage spilling onto the ground. The person sitting in the office also looked very unkempt, with messy, disheveled hair, which added to the overall impression that the property was not being properly maintained. I honestly cannot understand how a hotel in this condition is allowed to operate. If I had had more time, I would definitely have filed a complaint with the appropriate health or hotel regulatory authority.

We had a mixed experience staying here. The owner was incredibly kind, welcoming, and easy to work with, which we really appreciated. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the room left a lot to be desired. There were spider webs around the door, which gave a poor first impression, and the room didn’t appear to have been cleaned thoroughly. The chair in our room was especially dirty—we didn’t feel comfortable sitting in it at all. I think this property has potential because the owner genuinely seems to care about guests. Investing in more thorough housekeeping or a different cleaning team would make a huge difference and greatly improve the overall guest experience.
