The lobby did not appear as the photos do on Expedia. It was like entering a jail with the reception behind plexiglass and the staff member was completely unhelpful (even ignoring delivery people who brought packages while I was waiting). The room they had booked me in was directly adjacent to the lobby, on the ground floor, and the window looked out on to a busy, noisy and unsafe street, directly across from the commuter train. The room, hotel lobby and dining areas were dark, dingy, worn and unclean. It was disgraceful and mortifying to arrive at the accommodation, expecting to be able to unwind from travel and relax in my room, only to become stressed and upset by the poor accommodation standards and lack of customer service. I advised two staff members that I needed to arrange alternate accommodation and required a refund, as the room/hotel was unfit to stay. I was told by the staff at the reception that her manager would have to arrange a refund, which I have yet to receive. Extremely atrocious and horrifying experience and I would not recommend this hotel! I wouldn't have given even 1 star, except there is no choice for a 0 star rating.
