Best hostel I’ve ever stayed in. It is sophisticated, modern, functional, well set out and amenities are on point. Reception area and staff are fabulous, with comfortable lounge areas. Adjoining kitchen/dining area is modern and wonderfully equipped with a free coffee machine, kettle, mini oven, microwave and 2 stove tops. The system work’s immaculately and everything is clean. Free beer for happy hour.
The sleep pod is large and cosy. The width is around 1.5m and 2m in length. There is adequate storage under the bed via a pull out drawer. There is a long mirror at the end of the bed, 2 hangers and a hook. The bed and lights are controlled by an iPad. The bed transforms quietly into a sofa with the touch of a button, but can also be adjusted to suit your preference. 2 comfortable pillows are provided. Mattress is a touch soft from use but I’ve certainly had worse. The privacy blind can be lowered to the floor or wherever you like.
Showers are fabulous and mostly clean, with sinks and hairdryers at each basin. A washer and dryer can be used for around 500¥ total. The toilets are separate with their own basins, and can get a little wet but I love that there are paper towels for drying hands. Would be great to have steriliser in the toilets to clean the seats before use.
The amenity bag has towels, toothbrush, hairbrush, slippers, tissues, razor, etc free of charge.
The Millennials bridges hostel to hotel. 5 stars for aesthetics and thoughtful design.
