We were promised through expedia 2 free spa access. We were told upon arrival that there was no way that we would get a free spa for two. That the spa would cost 2000isk vs the normal 4000 isk. Basically, we were treated like vagrants as soon as we arrived. We made reservations for dinner. We were seated at the first table as you enter restaurant. Shortly after arriving at dinner a table of 5 or 6 with kids arrived. The parents let them run around the restaurant. Our server/host Rapheal was the only saving grace. He knew we needed to move to a differrent table. Anyone would! The behavior of the aforementioned kids continued and we were not the only ones annoyed. I would say Raphael was the only reason we actually stayed at the hotel.
We showed Raphael our booking which included 2 free spa. He made sure the issue would be addressed and apologized for the front desk check in ladies attitude. Bed was comfortable, property was quaint and pretty. Staffing needs to be improved and less pretentious before I would recommend anyone staying at this location.
