We have stayed at the Sands 5 times in the last 3 years everytime being a 3-4 night stay. We love this property, it’s very clean , relaxing. The staff are attentive and always are nice. They have a beautiful restaurant on property the pink cabana that you can also use for poolside drinks.
We checked in per usual actually pretty late for us about 8:30 pm after a long drive. Tired and just trying to get in our room , mind you we just stayed at Sands in june less then 2 months ago. We get to the paper signing like normal “ initial here , sign here” the front desk person says. Without even questioning or knowing because we just stayed here We sign. They give us a parking pass which was weird because we never got one of those before. So we get to our room maybe a few hours later I check my bank account to make sure everything had went through from the room payment. I see I got over charged. I text the front desk , call Expedia , they get it taken care of for me and reassure that I will be getting my funds back for the over charge. No problem. So I thought. Sands will say it’s not an over charge because it’s a new “ resort , WiFi , parking daily fee” now but they should really tell their guests and not expect people just to sign something. I’m always told everywhere I stay. Also for 3rd party bookings they need to be included in price like it states at checkout . $423.00 turned into $517.00 for a two night stay. Just be aware that these feel like hidden fees and be prepared.
