Myself and my family and friends had a beautiful stay, the rooms were spacious, clean and well maintained with everything you need. Kitchen facilities were great, we each had a balcony overlooking the pool area. The pool was kept beautiful, clean and tidy at all times. We would highly recommend Newport on Macrossan, Patrick the manager was helpful and friendly.

Perfect location and super friendly

We arrived post cyclone and Mandy on reception was so helpful and friendly. A landslide occurred and blocked the road so we had to go back to the hotel and they were again so helpful. Hotel location ideal in centre of town.

Location is excellent The actual set up of the room was a very standard basic room.It was noted the property is in need of some renovation and maintenance .It is also noted that vacancy rate was low and they would possibly do quite well as a budget family room arrangement. A lovely place to stay right in the Main Street of Port Douglas. The owners were very helpful and friendly and being an adults only resort it was a quiet comfortable place to stay. Our only concern was climbing up into the bath for a shower which could be difficult for older guests.All in all a lovely apartment with everything required 👍

This property was in a great location for walking just about everywhere. The apartment was great size for a couple and had everything we needed. The pool was very clean, relaxing and quiet.
