Positives: very well located (even if no private directly accessible beach, but Paphos isn’t really famed for its beaches), modern with touches of luxury, nice cafeteria overlooking the Mediterranean, good restaurants including Akakiko and Elliniko (but only open in the evening), very comfortable rooms and beds, good breakfast (could be better, eg more selection of cheeses, salmon etc), very polite and helpful staff across the premises.
Negatives: Indoor jacuzzi missing, house-keeping was a little erratic (late coming into the rooms, not spick-and-span cleaning, not replenishing consumables consistently, although to be fair the hotel was fully packed), toiletries are of low quality (some simply refused to be squeezed out of their tube, drenched with synthetic chemicals), parking is limited for the size of the hotel (there is plenty of parking on an adjacent public/private(?) road but the adjacent hotel was closed for the winter period so not sure what happens in high season), the shower tub jet-set is very welcome but the water proof safety door was not long enough in size, so water was splashing out all over the place and flooding the bathroom. Also, bathroom ventilation was not working, so got extremely humid.
I would sincerely love to return here and I truly hope that management will give full attention to the little final touches which are missing and which I am pretty sure will be brought to attention by other guests too.
