"We really enjoyed our stay at The Trout Cafe. Our room was really clean and comfortable, there was an electric fan which was appreciated as it was very warm weather. The shower was easy to use and very good. There were biscuits with the tea and coffee which was nice. We had breakfast and the food was very good and included in the price of the room. The hosts could not have been friendlier and gave us some great advice and local knowledge on places to visit. We would absolutely stay again on our next visit to Wales."

"Nice b+b, very close to the sea in a side street, could see the sea from my room (partial sea view). My double room was really nice, very clean but no bathroom, which was communal, I didn't realise this until I entered my room. Didn't notice this in the description, obviously my error. Shared bathroom wasn't a problem though, but will definitely want my own for the next booking. Bed was comfortable, pillows bit lumpy but I did sleep really well. Internet very good indeed, breakfast menu great and food exceptional, and the gentleman taking breakfast orders was really nice, polite and friendly. Accommodation is next to the Castle and only a short walk to the main promenade and main shopping area's. Check-in was a bit different from the norm, no member of staff just folders on the desk with each person's name and room name with keys, quite straight forward so not an issue. Overall very happy with my one night stay, will definitely stay at the Gwesty Guest House again "

"Absolutely amazing! Location very convenient for walking to Llanchanaeron House - National Trust (44 mins) or ambling down to the high street (15 mins). Close to shops, bars, restaurants and the seafront. Accommodation is a very beautiful, comfortable house, breakfast lots of choices and delicious. We definitely would love to revisit Aberaeron and stay again. "

"Stayed 2 nights as we were dj ing at the Grannell saturday night which is 3 hours from home. Key code system on all doors which is easy to follow. Rooms were clean and have tv, tea coffee facilities, also lots of hanging space. Beds were comfy. This is a pub with a restaurant, we dined twice and the food was phenomenal, the sunday carvery was excellent. Good choice of drinks. The whole team and regulars made us feel welcome for the whole time we were there. The staff and management couldnt do enough for us to make our stay enjoyable. The function room is really pretty. We will definitely be staying again when over there working next"

His fantastic, scrumptious, and elegantly laid-out breakfast table was a true highlight — a feast for both the eyes and the taste buds. 👍 The delicious cakes he served were simply unforgettable!! He went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. The atmosphere was warm and relaxed, and you can tell he genuinely cares about his guests. "Very nice staff and comfortable bed however the carpet was old and worn to the point where there was hoops of carpet big enough to trip me by the bathroom door and sharp pins sticking up from under the window where it should hold down the carpet but there was not much carpet left there .. a few stains on the wall but other than that enjoyed it "

"Breakfast had a wide choice of options. The bed was really comfortable and warm. Internet access was very good. The room had a good sized fridge in it which was a very good idea for keeping snacks fresh and milk fresh for tea. It was a very clean room The guesthouse is situated in the centre of the small town of Lampeter and is more reasonably priced than most establishments and they are nice people working there. "
