"I liked that it was in the heart of the Menai Bridge, close to shops restaurants/take-aways.. Monday night so it was very quiet in the pub downstairs. Helpful, friendly host I got the room at a bargain price Telly, tea/coffee making facilities, clean towels, private bathroom, hairdryer, clean Perfect for a short stay Thank you"

"Fabulous stay, staff welcoming attentive and smiling. Room a treat,balcony with view overlooking the Menai. Bed very comfortable ( setee too ). Was a bit noisy on Saturday night but didn’t bother us. Garden seating a real area of tranquility "

"It was a really nice older property. The staff were all lovely and helpful, they had suggestions of where to go and what to see. The breakfast was really good and there was plenty of choice. The dining room, was roomy and had a great views. We had dinner there a couple of nights, although there wasn't a massive choice, we enjoyed what we ordered. The room was nice and clean, but a bit dated. It really is in a great location. Very easy for Anglesey."

"Had a lovely stay at Groeslon Ty Mawr. It's a proper old-fashioned B&B that reminded me of childhood holidays. Mark and Ruth were very welcoming and kind and made me feel right at home. I stayed upstairs in the main building. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was clean and cosy with a lovely view out over the valley. There were all the usual amenities like a kettle, small TV and so on. The room had a sink, which was convenient since the bathroom was shared. However, I think it was only shared with one other room and there was never anyone else in it when I needed to use it. There was a delicious freshly-cooked breakfast in the morning on top of a selection of cereals, fruit juices and tea/coffee. Ruth was happy to make me a vegetarian version. The tea room is open during the day but there didn't seem to be food on offer in the evening and they don't offer a packup/early breakfast if you need to go out earlier than 8am. Fair enough since they're up early as it is for breakfast service and don't get a day off! There are plenty of dinner options close by in Llanberis or Bangor. The location is beautiful up on the hill top, with amazing views. However, you do need your own transport to stay there as it's several miles out of town. There is plenty of space in the car park. "
