The hotel is situated very close to the center, so it's within walking distance. If you have a car, the neighborhood is more safe than others to park in public spaces and it's more easy to find a spot close to the hotel (however, it's RELATIVELY easy as compared to other neighborhoods, cause in general parking is very very difficult in Palermo!). The hotel is rennovated and it's modern. However, some things may need small touches as they are worn by time, but they are very minor (e.g. broken stand for the shower in the bathtub). The rooms are spacious. However, if you would like to get a quiet room you have to ask one in the upper floors. The rooms in the 1st floor overlooking the street can be very busy. The staff is very attentitve and when I asked to change my room because of noise, they immediately catered my needs. The breakfast is excellent with many choices if continental breakfast, fresh fruit, as well as local delicacies like canolo which were excellent! Also, you can ask for a freshly made cappuccino and it's free! All in all, a great hotel, value for money!
