A classically Swedish café in a uniquely historic environment

Nostalgic Sturekatten is the place to go for a simple yet tasty lunch and some excellent, classic pastries in a romantic environment that feels like a period house from the turn of the last century. Sturekatten offers salads, open sandwiches, soups and simple lunch dishes such as quiche lorraine, but it is perhaps their sweet pastries made using classic homemaker recipes from the 1930s which most draw in the crowds. Rosendals Trädgårdscafé sells certified organic products and seasonal open sandwiches and pastries inside a quirky greenhouse setting. In the summer, you can take your coffee outside into the apple grove and in the winter you can sit inside the greenhouse and warm up by the fire. The lunch menu is built around the garden's own harvest of biodynamic vegetables, fruits and herbs. All breads and pastries come straight from their own wood-fired oven.
Rosendals Trädgårdscafé is located on the island of Djurgården in the lovely Rosendal Garden (Rosendals Trädgård). So be sure to combine your coffee break with a stroll around the beautiful gardens. Historic Stockholm café in a unique environment in Skansen
