Boat Avenue Phuket

Chandra is one of relatively few fashion boutiques in Boat Avenue to stock both men’s and women’s clothing. Specialising in trendy resort wear, the selection includes colourful bikinis, elegant dresses, fitted shirts, light trousers, and more. Designs lean more towards stylish simplicity, with relatively few busy patterns. There’s another Chandra store in Phuket, in Surin Beach, as well as 2 more in Koh Samui.

Dalaya has grown from a simple men's and women’s fashion boutique into a first-class lifestyle brand spread across southern Thailand. With outlets in Koh Samui and Phuket, the brand includes home décor and different styles of fashion. There are 2 or 3 stores under the Dalaya brand in Boat Avenue alone, but the main store is close to the footbridge. The menswear selection is fairly limited, but women will find exotic light summer dresses and bold swimwear designs.

Fe2 has a selection of beautiful crystals and geodes that can add a distinctive talking point to your room. You can also find unique jewellery made with smaller crystals, as well as handwoven silks and antiques.

Boat Avenue's carpark turns into a night market on Friday evenings. That means that parking space becomes rather limited during that time, but it’s worth it for the range of clothes, accessories, jewellery and food available.

The choice of street food is especially impressive, which includes bread, fruit smoothies, desserts, fresh seafood and snacks. There are a few tables available where you can sit and eat your purchases, too. The market generally starts to get busy from around 6pm.

A Phuket-based beachwear label with stores right across Thailand, Kaanda Beach Life stocks a wide range of designs, from the colourful to the classic. Their catalogue – and the flagship store near Villa Supermarket – features 1-piece swimsuits, bikinis, beach dresses, kaftans and accessories. There’s no menswear to be found, but women will find some interesting unique designs to help you look at your best on the beach.

Inspired by a lifetime of travelling, fashion designer Marie France Van Damme has brought her remarkable collection of resort wear to Boat Avenue. The store is as chic and stylish as the items on sale, which include swimsuits, dresses and casual clothes – mostly for women – with a neutral palette of metallic colours and natural prints in silk, chiffon and satin.

Wings is a large womenswear boutique, selling high-end designer fashion brands. The main supplier is hejselbjerg from Denmark, which specialises in graphic prints with natural elements, primarily using greys and earthy tones. The store stocks mostly cool summer dresses, all made of fine silk and all carefully chosen for their eye-catching look and exclusive designs. There are also accessories like hats and purses to complete the look.

Brewbridge Craft Beer specialises in craft beers, with some of their top beers include the 8% pale ale La Chouffe and the 5% golden ale Boonville. You can also enjoy a small selection of high-quality bar snacks and gourmet pub grub, including pork ribs and Thai-style seafood spaghetti. 

CUT Grill & Lounge Phuket is a high-quality steak restaurant on the lake at the back of Boat Avenue. You can enjoy fine cuts of beef, lamb, pork and chicken, served in a beautiful setting. It's also one of the classiest lounge bars in Bangtao. 

Little Paris specialises in homemade classic French dishes, such as Burgundy snails, foie gras and crème brûlée. There's also an onsite bakery, with an impressive choice of sandwiches available.

As you would expect of a French restaurant, the wine and coffee selections are both quite comprehensive. You can also enjoy pizzas, pasta and Thai dishes at Little Paris. 

The Mexican is kind of like a pop-up restaurant right in the middle of Boat Avenue. The star dish is the low-cost taco, available in fish, chicken, pulled pork, minced Australian beef and vegetarian varieties.

Despite their budget-friendly price tag, the food is very tasty and moreish, especially when you add the signature sauce. Several other popular Mexican dishes are available, including nachos, burritos and quesadillas.

Uoteru sells high-quality Japanese cuisine, particularly sushi and sashimi, at pretty reasonable prices. An impressive array of Japanese main dishes are also available, including chicken teriyaki. The restaurant is quite simple, with indoor and outdoor dining areas available, but the food is reliably good. There are 2 branches of this bright, modern restaurant in Phuket, the other being in Rawai.
