When we got there it was dark. Had no idea a luxury hotel would not have someone there 24/7.
They said they were trying to call us but we were in flight from Los Angeles. They only use WhatsApp. We do not use that. Just call me or email me.
There was no sign . Just a dark building on a dark street. Not welcoming one to a new country. Imagine getting to a place and being dropped off by an urber and having no one there . You’re just stuck with your luggage. After some calls we found out the keys were in a lock box .
The second bed was very small more like a child’s bed. I was traveling with my sister. The bed was way too small for me to be comfortable. Especially after a 14 hr flight.
In the morning we were to transfer to Venice. The kitchen was set up for breakfast, the food juices and coffee were laid out. However they would not let us take something to go with us to the airport as they were not open for a half hr. We had to get to the airport. Therefore another “luxury gone”. I would never recommend this property. This was not an inexpensive property. It was not worth the. money . I am very disappointed. It make me think twice about using hotels.com in the future or recommend them.
