I booked my stay at this hotel with one priority in mind: a quiet room. I specifically requested a quiet room during check-in, as the hotel advertised soundproof and modern accommodations. Unfortunately, what I experienced was far from quiet.
I was shown two basement rooms—one with a tiny window and another with a larger window that faced the in-house gym. I chose the room with the larger window, hoping that the hotel's claim of soundproof rooms would hold true. Sadly, this was not the case. In the late evening, I could hear guests coming and going from the gym, which was already frustrating. But the worst part came at 6 AM when a guest decided to do a workout with a loud YouTube video, shattering any chance of a peaceful morning.
Despite the hotel's promise of soundproofing, the noise level was unbearable, making the quiet I had requested and expected impossible. On top of this, the air quality in the room was poor, likely due to lack of ventilation. The bathroom fan was broken and loud, contributing to an overall unpleasant stay.
While the room itself was clean, the hotel's failure to provide the quiet, soundproof environment they promised made the stay disappointing. If you’re looking for a quiet night, be cautious about relying on the hotel's claims.
