Worst holiday ever in Paris
Hi
I have never been handle by a hotel and Hotels.com like this in my life, like we were at the Hotel Galileo.
They cancelled a booking without we had done enything for this. They said the MC didnt work. I called my bank within 10 min and nothing had been or was wrong with this card at anytime. The Mastercard was at same time used for 2 other reservations at Hotel.com come without any problems.
I went back to the hotel within 20 min and now they told my taht this room was no longer availeble - but I could have a room twice that size paying 200 Euros extra. But why should I do that when I havn´t done enything wrong.
But the hotel kept me paying for this - so me and my wife felt this like steeling money from us an ruined the vacation.
Even paying this (now like 350 euros per day) they didn´t give us a new water or coffecapsules per day in the room.
The berakfast area and the fresh fruit juice as mesioned in the add for the hotel, was also just a joke.
Im so disapointed in this behavior from Hotels,com and the Hotel Galileo.
Finally we had to pay the 1490 euros (4 days) up front at arrival - where the deal at hotels was to pay at the departure. Its not a 4 star hotel - no bar and small bathroom.
This was the worst stay in Paris ever, and I have been here over 50 times. It took all the fun and joy from this vacasion.
