We booked two hotel rooms, but one of the rooms was missing when we arrived.
We had to prove that we had two bookings, and after an hour of back and forth, we finally got the room.
Since it was late and we were hungry, we just left our belongings in one room and went out to eat.
When we returned to the second room, there was a terrible smell, either mold or a bad urine odor. We asked them to clean or do something about it.
They cleaned, but the smell did not go away. The next morning, we received a standard room close to the other one.
We asked for some form of compensation, as we had gone from a family room to a standard double, but unfortunately, they blamed us for wanting to switch rooms.
I didn’t want to argue over something so trivial, but I do feel the hotel could have been more accommodating.
The rooms we finally got were fine but not soundproof.
At night, there was noise from the hallways and nightlife.
In the morning, there was construction noise. Even though I don’t like to complain,
I think experiences like this are unnecessary, as we only use the hotel as a place to sleep and spend most of our time out doing activities.
On a positive note, I want to commend the cleaning staff. They did a great job, cleaning the rooms twice a day.
The breakfast was standard, but it was nice to start the morning with freshly squeezed orange juice, coffee, and good food.
For an overall rating, on a scale from 1-10, I would give this hotel a 5.
