good experience
a really nice hotel, very well located at the edge of the old town of Sorrento, 5 min. walk from T.Tasso square, at the end of COrso d'Italia. Rooms renovated. The front rooms have lovely sea view to the gulf. (prefer rooms on the 3d floor or the 2nd, beacuse on the 1st they are at a lower level and the view is less spectacular-reception desk is on the 4th). My room had no view (single, standard) with no view, but the hotel was totally full.But its size was ok for italian standards (double bed, while in may italian hotels single rooms are very narrow).
Breakfast: good for italian standards, not anything impressing, but good. Gentle staff. The restaurant-cafe on the 4th floor has nice view and reasonable prices (the place is a touerist trap) really (espresso 1,5 euro). A small swimming pool is on the 4th floor, next to the reception and the restaurant: very convenient and relaxing (this makes the hotel unique for its price). The only negative: on the first day (I stayed 5) the were late in cleaning the room and they had to come late in the afternoon while I was there. Otherwise, it is a very good value for money, as the place is very touristic.
