Had a stellar experience with this dive and snorkle centered concept. This is a great alternative to a dive boat that provides you with all the upsides of land based/ hotel living while giving you access to all the dives your heart desires. Never once did the owner or staff say the word "no". Everything is possible and they go above and beyond to make your stay and experience one for the memeories. They paradis island and its local people lifted it to the next level.

It was our honeymoon and we stayed here for our first two days. Midhoo helped me with all the planning and get me the best possible surprise for my wife. We had no experience in diving and he was the best instructor one can ask for. Throughout the diving experience he was with us. We saw manta rays, black fin sharks and turtles along with array of fishes. We had particular food request and they made wholesome food. Everyone was like a family. Definitely will come back again

This is a rare find and we felt very privileged to stay here. The island is a locals island and felt like a real Maldivian experience. As advertised, you can dive 3 times each day which is amazing. The staff are all incredibly lovely and kind. The rooms are perfect for what you need with air con and good Wi-Fi. The food was plentiful and really tasty. If you’re up for an adventure and don’t feel the need for a polished version of the Maldives then this is the place to be. Cultural appropriation is important here and you won’t be sipping beers in the evening but you definitely won’t be disappointed. My 14yr old daughter was taught to dive and given the opportunity to do her PADI course whilst there with the very experienced Midhoo who was was awesome. We are truly grateful. Take some local currency and mosquito repellent !

We absolutely loved our time at Dive and Sleep. The rooms are lovely with a super comfy bed and the atmosphere of the accommodation is amazing with friendly attentive staff who are always there if you need them. The food is first class with fresh tasty dishes served daily. We had Jarda (one of the owners) look after us during our stay and he was so helpful with everything, you could not ask for anymore. The island we stayed on is peaceful with a small local population who are super friendly. You just need to remember to be respectful of the local customs and ensure you dress appropriately in public areas but there is also a "bikini beach" where you can sunbathe freely. The evening sunsets are beautiful!! The diving is really good fun and managed very safely. Every dive had sharks, healthy reefs and sometimes some fun currents to enjoy. The boat has an excellent captain and Mohammed (dive assistant on the boat) is the loveliest guy you will meet and is always on hand to help with the equipment etc. Dives are well guided by Jarda in our case and they were always so much fun as his enthusiasm for the underwater world is infectious. For me, this is the best value and authentic Maldives dive holiday you can have and I will be back!

We really enjoyed our stay at Dive and Sleep and would highly recommend it to all divers. Nothing was too much trouble for Jarda and the team and they made it a stress free and memorable trip. The rooms were clean, modern, had great bathrooms and cold air con. The chefs cooked 3 delicious and healthy meals a day with enough food to fuel and sustain the 3 dives a day. Self serve access to as much water, soft drink, tea and coffee as you please. The covered communal / dining area was a great space to relax and chat with other divers. There is also sunscreen and insect spray (a few mosquitoes but not too bad). The local island feels really safe and the locals are very friendly. It a very sleepy island with limited facilities (there is a small shop and pharmacy). The island has amazing sunset spots and a great house reef for snorkeling. Finally, the diving was fantastic with a diverse range of dive sites and marine life. 3 dives a day (2 morning, 1 afternoon) with enough time to relax and recover afterwards. Water temperature was warm enough in February that we could dive in shorts and a rashie (28-29 Celsius). All equipment we hired was in good condition. It’s great value for money and Jarda is a fantastic host. We will definitely return!

Plongées On a effectué 30 plongées merveilleuses. FONCEZ !!

We stayed at Dive and Sleep for the first half (5 nights) of our honeymoon in the Maldives and it was more than we could have hoped for. Our speedboat transfer was booked for us and we were collected from the harbour. Dhidhdhoo (pronounced di-do) is a small local island and Dive and Sleep is one of only a few hotels. The location is perfect and we could see the sea from our room's outside seating area. We arrived late afternoon, so had a few hours to settle in before dinner. The food was amazing and we were often served beautifully seasoned fresh fish that had been caught off the dive boat earlier that day. Drinking water (hot/cold) was available in the communal dining area, as well as a fridge with cans of coke/fanta/sprite. The room was clean and had everything we needed. My husband is an experienced diver, so was able to get out for his first two dives the next morning. I've never dived before, so was eased in more gently. After doing some theory at the dive centre, and a practice dive off the beach, I was able to go out on the boat with the other guests in the afternoon. Midhoo is a fantastic teacher and I wouldn't have wanted to complete my PADI open water course with anyone else. The local dive sites are also some of the best my husband has seen. All of the staff at Dive and Sleep were very welcoming and we felt well looked after. We enjoyed our stay so much that we were planning our next trip before we left.

Lecker 😋

I recently had an amazing stay at Dive and Sleep Guesthouse in the Maldives, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. From the moment I arrived, the host and his wife made me feel incredibly welcome. Their warmth and friendliness, coupled with the politeness and willingness to assist from the entire staff, truly set the tone for a perfect vacation. Returning to diving after a 16-year hiatus felt daunting, but the on-site diving instructor was exceptional. They guided me back into the world of diving with patience and expertise, starting with a lagoon dive to refresh my skills. Thanks to their thorough approach, I quickly regained my confidence, transitioning from a cautious beginner to a comfortable and independent diver. The property's boat trips were a highlight, offering three daily dives at different coral reefs in the area. The experience of exploring the vibrant marine life was nothing short of magical, and every dive improved my skills. This trip truly reignited my passion for diving, allowing me to enjoy the beauty of the Maldives underwater world once more. Overall, my stay at Dive and Sleep was fantastic. The combination of outstanding hospitality and top-notch diving opportunities made it an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this guest house to anyone looking for a memorable diving adventure in the Maldives!

Absolutely amazing stay - a hidden gem for divers!

We had the most incredible stay at Dive and Sleep Guest House during our diving holiday in early April. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this place is something special. The guest house is brand new, spotlessly clean, and beautifully decorated with a modern yet cozy touch. Our room was spacious and cozy, and in excellent condition – everything felt fresh and thoughtfully designed. What truly set this place apart, though, was the service. It was beyond anything we could have hoped for. The team welcomed us like old friends and made us feel genuinely cared for throughout our stay. The atmosphere was warm, relaxed, and always inviting. The food was delicious and varied – every meal was a treat! Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, there was always something new to enjoy. Diving with *Dive and Sleep* was both safe and unforgettable. Even though we had a bit of a break from diving, the team made sure we were fully comfortable again with a professional and reassuring refresher dive. The dive masters took real care in choosing the perfect dive sites to match our experience and interests. Every dive felt personal, well thought-out, and magical. All in all, this place is an absolute must if you're looking to dive in stunning surroundings, enjoy top-notch service, and truly get your money’s worth. On top of that, everything is done with sustainability in mind – the owners genuinely care about the environment, and it shows in every detail.

A Hidden Gem: A Perfect Blend of Adventure and Tranquility Can a non-diver enjoy a dive-and-sleep hotel? Absolutely! Whether you’re learning to dive, snorkeling in stunning spots, or simply soaking up the beauty, this destination offers something for everyone. Who knows—you might even snorkel alongside whale sharks or rays! Divers can look forward to up to three daily dives, exploring underwater marvels in crystal-clear waters. Arriving on Dhidhdhoo, a serene Maldivian island, is an adventure itself—via a two-hour speedboat ride or a 15-minute hop from Maamigili Airport. The warmest welcome awaits at this intimate haven, which I jokingly call “Mal_Dive and Sleep”—a branding gem waiting to be claimed. The island retains its authentic charm, with more locals than tourists. Unspoiled beaches, silent corners, and lush nature make you feel like you have the island to yourself. Here, your companions might be a hermit crab or a curious chicken as you explore pristine sands and calm waters. The accommodation is cozy, featuring just four rooms (eight beds), offering a tranquil, intimate vibe. Nights bring the soothing sounds of the jungle, while days are filled with culinary delights. Authentic Maldivian meals, tailored to your preferences, are served in a communal atmosphere, where hosts often join in, fostering connections and unforgettable memories. This authentic escape, paired with unparalleled hospitality, made for a magical experience. Dhidhdhoo, I’ll be back!
