The Queens Guest House is excellent value for money. The rooms are very clean as are the shared bathrooms and toilet If you dont have en suite. I stayed here for 11 days whilst between house's and I would highly recomend this guest house.

Its cheap for a reason.

It was a cheap room booked last minute when we realised the event we were attending would finish after our last train home. The room wasn't great but its what we expected. The ensuite door didnt shut, the shower door was broken and the walls were very thin but it was cheaper than a taxi home.

Place was nice and quaint. Service for the shared bathroom is once a day and was adequate. The room was kind of old though and needed maintenance. Good place to stay if looking for the practical abd bare minimum amenities.

The picture was deceiving, the twin room was completely opposite to what was shown in the picture. Two single beds were cramped together to make twin room, room was very tiny with a table and side drawers, very limited space, no bins in the room, tv was dated, holes on walls, climbing stairs was spooky, hand rails falling off, toilet seat wobbly and broken, shower cubicle very dirty and mildew growing, all carpets dirty and smelly. I will not go there again, it wasn’t worth my money. I will be happy if my money was refunded to me.

We were let down by another apartment so booked this last minute. The man on reception was very helpful, the place wasnt great but it was warm and dry and somwhere for us to get a few hours sleep and we were very happy

I had to leave the property immediately after my daughter and I arrived to see the ghetto we had paid for . This place is truly appalling and Expedia should feel shamed for offering it to their unassuming clients . This place is absolutely disgraceful. Dirty, unsafe, dangerous. So bad that i only spent 10 minutes in the room before checking out. I told the guy on reception my concerns and he just said ok. Appalling place in a terrible location.

The place is horrendous but you get what you pay for. Check in was easy and bed was clean and comfortable but that’s about it. Single glazed windows where two were stuck open (I stayed in November 29th!) If you literally need somewhere dry to sleep for a few hours after a night out in Manchester for dirt cheap I would recommend though.

What was there to like? We paid alot of money for the room that was nothing like the pictures. There were holes in the wall, which was not surprising, since everyone probably take out on the wall out of anger when they book the room and then get this "room" if you can call it that just because it has walls. The 1 towel per 2 guests was dirty with skidmarks, heatkettle was full of water with dirty pieces in it, the door to the room were 5 cm above the ground, and the shared bathroom was just another complete shock. Never imagined that accomondation could be in such a disgraceful state
