We spent 5 beatiful days. The apartment it's so lovely. The only annoying issue was the smell of below restaurant' kitchens that don't let to leave windows open daylong and in the early morning. Also the noise during dinner time if you stay at home is not really relaxing. But if suppose that is not the first time that guests claim for that. A solution can be to install air conditioning cause you can blow up resturants! Apart of this issue we had a lovely stay and we hope to come soon. The house is complete of all falicities, appliances and appreciated the sweet welcome with pasteis de nata. and the perfect cleanings.

When I booked the reservation for the Gonzalo's House Guest Apartment, Expedia showed the location in the Chaido neighborhood where we wanted to stay. When we arrived in Lisbon, I received a text message with an address to the Alfama y Castillo neighborhood. I'm not sure whose fault this was as the apartment owner fixed the problem quickly on the Expedia website and apologized for the mistake. But it was a very unfortunate mistake as we had a lot of plans across town. Otherwise, the apartment was ok. It doesn't have air conditioning which was a problem (even in the evenings) on the hot summer days. I feel like the listing should say this as most visitors expect it. Leaving the windows open at night was our only recourse but the streets outside were loud and there was construction with jackhammering starting early in the morning. Also, note that one of the other reviews says the apartment is up two flights of stairs. It's actually about 4 steep, narrow flights of stairs. Outside of the apartment, there is one big cobblestone hill to climb followed by a flight of stairs. Inside the apartment, there were 4 additional half-flights of stairs that were also narrow. I'm in pretty good shape and can say that carrying a full-sized suitcase up and down from the apartment was a challenge.

La amplitud y tranquilidad. La camas son muy confortables y la cocina está completamente equipada. A mejorar la ducha y que no tiene calefacción ni A/A, solo 2 radiadores eléctricos y 2 ventiladores. En general, muy bien.
