"The room was comfortable and clean. Staff were very helpful, giivng suggestions of what to do in the area. Breakfast had some items out early so we were able to grab some bagels and fruit before heading to Joshua Tree National Park for sunrise. I am still unclear why there is a $15 parking fee since there is plenty of room for parking and nothing I saw to warrant the fee."

July is one of the hottest months -- but facilities were air-conditioned, and it was worth seeing Joshua Tree National Park. We drove in and just pulled over at the turn-outs to view and take pictures. We knew not to try to hike in that weather !

Twentynine Palms is a small town located just outside of the North entrance to Jashua Tree Park. The town itself has several smaller restaurants and fast food option, but that's about it. Nearby Joshua Tree has larger chain markets, restaurants, etc.

We had a good meal at The Rib Co. before heading into the park at dark to experience the Perseid meteor shower. Fun!

Everything you need is available. Walmart, Starbucks, weedmaps delivery, DoorDash delivery etc, the desert twinkles at night, the sunrise is amazing.

It's right down the road from the North entrance to Joshua Tree National Park and the 29 Palms Visitor Center. We enjoyed a vist to the 29 Beer Co.

The two restaurants we liked very much were Outpost and John's Place. The chicken sandwich and hamburgers at the new Outpost were excellent. The service at John's Place was very slow on a busy Sunday morning, but the employees were doing their best!

"We absolutely love our stays here. We always return because it's always clean, never had any issues. Our microwave didn't work and we got upgraded to a bigger room without any issues or hassles. Everyone of the staff members are great, friendly, and super helpful. "
"Ash, the manager (owner?) was so friendly and accommodating. Very 60’s vibe, old fashion motels reminded me of my childhood. The room was very clean, simple decor (liked the wall colors) compatible with bed linens (loved the breathable quilt bedspread) and the beds were comfortable. Great pricing for the area as well. Table and chairs outside each room to drink a glass of your own wine and taking in the views. "
