An unforgetable place
Going to florence constitutes by itself a unique experience.In the city of renaisance the brithplace of people like Macciaveli,Boticceli,the Medicis the Grand hotel is the place to stay.
The decor is wonderfull yet florentine,colour and light in a perfect harmony.Our room was more than spacious with a balcony on the river from where you could see the Ponte Vecchio.
The staff of the hotel were absolutely up to the standards of a five star establishment with the extra of natural Italian warmth.
The ground restaurant/cafe was offering a wine list with some Tuscany Diamonds (Brunellos and Ornelaia) which could be enjoyed in the small open air area (importent for smokers).
Overall the hotel is trully 5 stars all the way.
