The hotel is at a great location at the centre of Thessaloniki, at a walking distance from various monuments. It has reserved a few parking seats on the street outside for those traveling by car.
Our room was a corner one with a big balcony and a view at the hamam across the street. It was clean, spacious and had a small sitting area. Although next to one of the busiest streets of the city, insulation was good and I was not bothered by the noise (granted there was not much traffic outside when I stayed, but still…). Amenities include soap, shampoo; shower gel, toothbrush/toothpaste. The hotel also provides you with robes and sleepers in the room.
It seems you have to register so to have wi-fi in the room. Better ask at the reception upon arrival about the process. I used my own portable internet.
There is a small spa at the hotel which includes a small pool for hydrotherapy, a Jacuzzi, a sauna, a hamam, and heated recliners. I enjoyed all of them, plus a massage which was on special offer. There was also a gym, which I did not try.
I had lunch in the room and a drink at the bar and I thought the prices were quite fair for a hotel.
Breakfast had a good variety of choices including boiled, fried and scrambled eggs, bacon and cocktail sausages, three types (cream, spinach, cheese) of the famous bougatsa (a sort of filo pastry pie for which Thessaloniki is known for – don’t miss the cream), crepes, pancakes, small croissants and of course koulouri (a round bread roll) etc
