Mackinac Island is an island and city in Michigan offering a state park, iconic rock formations, historical sites, arts and cultural installations and educational fun for all. The Mackinac Island State Park covers the vast majority of the island and provides hiking trails, wooded canopies and the famous Arch Rock limestone formation. The Benjamin Blacksmith Shop showcases the history of blacksmithing with costumed artisans, showcasing the process of traditional metalworking and forging. Skull Cave is the location of an ancient Native American burial site. The Museum of Ojibwa Culture at Old Mission Saint-Ignace is a seasonal museum of Native American culture.
